Our team traded the dining room for the bayou on Monday!

As a thank-you to the staff members who attended the majority of our six-week Summer Education Series, we celebrated with a trip to McGee's Swamp Tours with Captain Skip.

Over the summer, Brian, Kyla, and Hector led incredible classes covering wine, cocktails, and service, helping our team continue to grow and elevate the guest experience every day.

A huge thank you to our instructors for sharing their knowledge and to everyone who committed to learning all summer long. We had a great time celebrating your hard work together!

Meet Hector!

We’re excited to officially welcome Hectorto the management team at Social Southern Table & Bar!
Originally from Shreveport, Hector has spent the last 20 years in the restaurant industry, starting at just 16 years oldbussing tables. His passion for hospitality, serving others, and creating memorable guest experiences has kept him doing what he loves ever since.

After moving to Lafayette and hearing so many great things about Social, Hector joined our team and just one year later, his hard work and dedication earned him a promotion to management!

When you stop by, don’t be surprised if Hector greets you in English, Spanish, or French (and maybe even a little German or Japanese!). He loves connecting with guests and practicing different languages whenever he gets the chance.

Hector’s Favorites
Meal: Grilled Pork Chop with dirty rice, orange vinaigrette & pickled peppers

And he admits to taking home a Cinnamon Roll Blondie every now and then.
