We had the pleasure of having my mom back in town for a week, and every time she visits, she falls a little more in love with Cajun culture, the food, and especially the people. ❤️
She came to celebrate her 60th birthday, and we had such a great time showing her around Lafayette and making some special memories together.
Of course, she couldn’t leave without spending a little time in the kitchen! She left us a few of her recipes that we may be adding to the Empanada Guy menu in the future. 👀🥟
She promised she’ll be back soon… maybe around Christmas! 🎄
Thank y’all for always making her feel so welcome and at home, even when she’s just visiting. That’s one of the things we love most about Acadiana—the way people make you feel like family. ❤️
