It's always fun to see new faces in the shop. Since it's been a while, we wanted to answer some Lobby FAQ's!
Q: You serve alcohol?
A: We do! Our cocktail bar is open all hours. Please drink responsibly, and expect to be ID'd! All of our seats to the right of the register are 21+ (yes, both the barstools and the tables!) even if you aren't drinking that day.
Q: Where do I put my dishes when I'm done?
A: Thanks for asking! If you're sitting at the bartop, we can take care of them for you. If not, we have two bus bin stations that you can set your plates, silverware, napkins, and cocktail glasses inside.
Q: Do you have alternative milks?
A: We do! In fact, we try to accommodate a few different dietary restrictions. You can get Oat, Almond, Soy, or Coconut milk in your drink. We also have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Feel free to ask to talk to a staff member from the kitchen or message us ahead of time with questions!
Q: Can I hang my poster in your vestibule?
A: We can take it for you! Our manager typically has a large stack of posters sitting on her desk, and we want to make sure everyone gets rotated through. We also try to be as gentle as possible with the peeling paint in our vestibule. Please don't put them up yourself!
Q: You use specialty coffee?
A: We're pretty committed to the quality of our food and drink, especially the coffee we serve. Greyhouse has been using .coffee for over 15 years, a specialty roaster based in Kansas with a focus on Direct Trade. Believe it or not, each coffee's story starts long before it arrives in the US, is roasted, or gets delivered to us!
Q: Wait, you make the vanilla syrup yourself? Why?
A: Why not? Actually, almost all of our syrups are housemade here at The Lobby. Scratch that, most everything we serve here is housemade. We're mixing up buttermilk biscuit dough, cooking English muffins on our griddle, and poaching eggs back in the kitchen.
