If you happen to have some time to grab a few extra school supplies, we'd be grateful for the help in collecting for our local kids who attend the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lakes Region!!! Donations accepted through August 28th, in club!

What to donate, ideas and needs 👇
🖍 crayons, markers, colored pencils, chalk
🎨 washable tempera paint, finger paint, brushes
✂️ child-safe scissors, clay tools, play dough
🪶 feathers, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, craft sticks

This week, we’re pouring with a little extra purpose.

Now through August 15th, for every Purple Parade 💜 Mega Tea purchased at The Current, $1 will be donated to support Under the Lights and its mission to bring greater awareness to epilepsy.

Epilepsy affects 1 in 26 people during their lifetime — which means chances are, someone in your family, friend group, workplace, or community has been touched by it.

At The Current, we LOVE when we get the opportunity to support causes that mean so much to the people right here in our community. 🌊💜 And this one is extra special with the Purple Day Boat Parade happening August 15th!

So come grab a Purple Parade, share the cause, wear some purple, and help us turn a whole lot of little $1 donations into something BIG. 💜

Since 1956, the iconic Weirs Beach sign has been lighting up the entrance to Weirs Beach with hundreds of glowing lights, becoming one of the most recognizable landmarks in New Hampshire.

Here's to local legends, bright lights, and hoping The Current gets to be part of Weirs Beach memories for many years to come. CHEERS!!
