Time to Celebrate 🎉

We’ve got not just one but TWO Looney Bin birthdays to celebrate! For 2 of our girls that couldn’t be more opposite than the other but work so well together. One super chill, the other one can’t sit still.

Yesterday was Katie’s 40th birthday (I missed posting on time 🤦🏻‍♀️ sorry) 😳 If you’ve met Katie, you know she’s our most chill, go with the flow, laid back bartender with a touch of sassy s***k when needed. Her heart is as big as her moms & her b**r tolerance as high as her dads. You can find her smile here on Sundays, sometimes with a touch of a hangover 😉

Lindsey on the other hand, is our loud & chatty one that is always on the go 🤣 You can hear her & her laugh no matter where you sit. She’s a huge lover of all things 4 legged & fuzzy & always so proud to brag about her daughters. She’ll spaz her way into your heart but she won’t put up with your sh*t. You can usually find her here on Thursday afternoons slinging wings like a champ. Or if you’re out & about this weekend, you’ll find her behind the bar at Frog Rock.

Now that the weekend has come to the end, I’m finally getting a moment to stop & reflect. And to appreciate how amazing our community is ❤️

Although Rain & High winds were predicted, you all still came to show love & support for Michaella. Somehow the weather ended up better than expected & a we even got a glimmer of sunshine showing through for quite a while. I’m not sure about you, but I take little things like that as a sign ☀️

What happened Saturday is what makes this community amazing & I’m realizing not everyone is so lucky to have what we have. All the support from friends, family & strangers is the type of thing Michaella needs right now. And you all came through.

Thank you for being so supportive & for helping us find that little positive that we all need right now.

With all of your help, we were able to raise over $7000 for Michaella ❤️ it may not be huge compared to some but for our tiny little place, I’m proud. My hopes are that the money will help contribute to some of the expenses she’s going to encounter as she heals. So that once she’s on the other side of her physical healing, she can focus on healing mentally & emotionally. It’s going to be a long road.

Again, I thank you all for helping us make this event possible & such a success. Please keep Michaella in your thoughts, along with memories of those that we lost & their families ❤️

As many of you are hearing, last night, there was an absolutely terrible accident on the road in front of our building. Our staff & customers were the first on scene & did everything they could to help. They also saw things that no one should see.

Due to the sensitive nature of this incident & concern for the mental well being of my staff & customers, we have opted not to open today.

Our hearts are heavy 💔 and need some time to process it all. Please keep the families & friends of those involved last night in your thoughts ❤️

* Thank you to those that ran right in to help & to the first responders who handled the situation with such care & respect. It takes a special kind of person to do what they did ❤️
