Folks we've got a GORGEOUS Sunday here in the best little small town ever.

Come join us for some of my chicken taco soup and Eric's dangerously good sandwich special. It's a great day to enjoy our new outside seating☀️

My husband and I are so incredibly lucky to have a staff and mom who were able to be here yesterday so that we could celebrate the marriage of two of our favorite people. Huge thanks to Angie Ploch Starck and Kodee Hughey for taking such great care of our customers❤️❤️❤️

Hello Labadie and Happy Saturday!!!!
While we do not have a sandwich special today we've got a very special event we're attending and for the first time ever Eric Hanson and I will be entrusting the shop with our marvelous staff and some help from mom. If you see them today please extend extra grace as this is the first time they are there and we are not. I have no doubt they will knock your socks off with the same great sandwiches and small town hospitality you've come to expect.

While I don't officiate a lot of weddings anymore this one means a lot to us and I'm incredibly grateful to not only to be asked to officiate but to be able to come together with friends to celebrate the love that Karlie and Roger have found in each other❤️

Woo it's Wednesday!!!!!
We've got some amazing new cheeses in stock, Eric Hanson and I had the baked Italian cheese for dinner last night and it was incredible. If you've never had just cheese and bread for dinner I highly recommend it🤤

In other news we've added more tables and cushioned chairs to our outside seating and the weather is perfect for enjoying your Savage Sammie outside and watching the world go by. Or if you're this mom you're sitting outside enjoying pics of your kiddo in Ecuador 🥰

And finally we're saying goodbye to our weekend breakfasts👋... as much fun as it's been it also creates a lot of waste as we pre cook most of our breakfast items so they are hot and ready for you and it's real hard to guess how busy we're going to be. Plus our dogs miss us and our couch misses us and we want to be able to concentrate on our sandwiches and bringing you some great new grab and go options.

We're restocked and refreshed from the killer weekend and thank you all so much for your support!

The rare Sunday evening post 💫
We started the morning with our usual menu... by noon we had 3 items taken off the menu and by the time we closed at 4 we had 2 orders of Pastrami.
That's it. No chicken, no turkey, no Roast beef, no Italian beef, no meatballs, no ribs🤣🤣🤣
You guys ATE IT ALL AND WE ARE SOOOOO HAPPY!!! And thankful...And tired🫠
And to boot my baby boy was in Michigan for a family wedding last night, flew home at midnight and we got him back to the airport in time for his morning flight to Ecuador 🇪🇨

Friends.....
Yesterday we were open for 11 hours. We sold over 30lbs of turkey and 27 pounds of ham.
One sandwich at a time😵‍💫
We started our morning with over 200 desserts and sold all but a dozen. One at a time.
Side dishes? I'm pretty sure we still have some pasta salad🤣🤣
Eric Hanson, myself and our amazing Dorie didn't just work, we were RUNNING

Day
Long
And now i get take my kiddo to Ecuador 🇪🇨. ..... well to Lambert and then he gets to hike an active 🌋 volcano and hopefully survive and I'll be going to work to see if Eric found any food to serve for breakfast 😆
Here's what I do know,
We've got breakfast burritos, bagels, at least 2 orders of ribs and a whole lot of gratitude for our amazing community❤️
Come see Eric and I today. Maybe bring us some nachos. Actually please bring us some junk food. This girl survives on sarcasm, junk food and love

Gotta brag on our staff today❤️
We've got a crew of 3 that have each messaged me on their days off this week with ideas for new desserts and different recipes they want to try. They are the reason our ovens run nonstop❤️❤️❤️and YOU GUYS are the reason they are excited to come in and try something new in hopes of knocking your socks off.
