For all the new people who have been recently viewing this page -- thank you! -- but Ella's is no longer there on the island.... Ella's had a good run, from 2000 - 2015, but the place was sold in June 2015, and is now operated as a restaurant called "Farmhouse". Ella (Linda) thanks you all for your patronage and support over those 15 years, but she happily enjoying being a semi-retired, non-business owner!

ELLA'S HAS BEEN SOLD! Thank you everyone -- friends, family, and especially all my loyal customers -- for 15 great years! I am sad to be leaving the island, but excited to begin a new chapter of my life. Please welcome Gip & Lauren, the new owners of Farmhouse-Madeline Island. They will be a wonderful addition to this community.

Okay folks! This weekend is the LAST big Moving Sale! I need to reduce my load and then pack up the rest so the new owners can move in and get ready to open!!! Open Sat & Sun 12-4, possibly earlier both days, and possibly longer depending on the traffic & weather. Some items include: window AC, recumbent exercise bike, paper shredder, ironing board, small plastic kid's dresser, rollaway bed (like new), twin size foam mattress topper, wooden drying rack, elec. floor sweeper, electric blanket, dishes, candles & baskets galore, adult & kid's books, games, grapevine wreaths, HP printer, AM-FM weather radio, complete "Under the Sea" bathroom set (shower curtain, towels, soap dish, wallpaper border, and more), alto recorder, calligraphy pens, and much much more! ALSO -- All Ella's framed photos are on sale, regularly $30, now $25. All photo cards, regularly $4 each, now $3 each. Lots going on this weekend -- Please stop by!

Big Moving Sale continues this weekend !! Lots of stuff! Come on down and check it out. Open 10-4. All framed photos are 10% off and photo notecards and bookmarks, normally $4 each, are now only $3 each. (Wouldn't mom love a beautiful framed photo of the island for Mother's Day?) And, as always, Hamm's beer is only $1. Come sit on the deck, have a beer & enjoy the view!

It's a beautiful day! Come on down & check out my rummage sale! Open today 12-4-ish. Lots of great books, movies, jigsaw puzzles; household items and more! I also have 2 acoustic guitars for sale -- one Japanese-made Goya & one German-made Silvetta (parlor size). The Silvetta needs a little luthier TLC, but both are good guitars; plus a lot of "crafty" stuff -- grapevine wreaths, moss, glue guns, etc. Stop by & help me "lighten" my moving load!

Okay, folks - here's an update: Nothing is absolutely final yet, but the buyers have attained their kickstarter goal, a bunch of bank hoops have been jumped through, and we are one step closer to a real transfer of ownership. Yeah, I truly believe it's going to happen soon. Send some positive juju to the bank gods and help make this happen!

If you can help them out by donating to their kickstarter campaign, I know they would appreciate it, and I'd appreciate it as well, since the sale of Ella's would bring me one step closer to realizing my (semi)retirement dream!
