Gonna be a hot week!
BUT, not as hot as our September Pizza of the Month:

Chicken Florentine: Roasted Garlic Alfredo Sauce topped with our marinated and roasted chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh spinach, our ultra premium Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese to give it that extra layer of flavor.

We Drizzle a little EVOO and sprinkle some Oregano from our herb garden over the top just before you get to dig in

We wanted to let you know that we will not be open Tuesday, August 25, but are planning on being back Wednesday August 26, for regular hours and operations.

Lori’s sister had an operation two weeks ago in Memphis, TN, and has had complications. Lori has been by her side since the day of the operation. This past Friday it became really touch and go so the decision was made to close Rustic Roots so that Jeff could be there as well.
Lori’s sister is doing better, but still has a long road to recovery.
We thank everyone for your understanding, patience, thoughts, concerns, and prayers.
Thank you to our team as well for their patience and understanding.
We look forward to her recovery and seeing all of you again!

Today, Rustic Roots had the honor of presenting special T-shirts in memory of retired MSgt. Mike Beck, one of our very special regular customers and friends, to his family.

He wasn’t just someone who came through our doors—he became part of the Rustic Roots family. We are grateful for every conversation, every visit, and every memory he left with us. His service to our country as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force is something we will always honor and remember. 🇺🇸

We hope these shirts serve as a small reminder that his place at Rustic Roots will always be here, and that he will never be forgotten. ❤️

Couple more days of this heat, so why heat up your house with a hot oven or stovetop? We’ve already got our oven cranking, let us do the hot part !

Notice it cools down on the days we are closed, and then kicks back up again on Tuesday👀
it’s like the weather knows you might have to cook for yourselves on those days…🤷‍♂️

Happy Thursday!!

A little heads up for today:

We have less than our usual Thursday amount of dough avails and might run out of pizza dough before our normal closing time☹️☹️

Our dough mixer decided Tuesday night it needed a day off, so we were not able to make dough yesterday. But, Haley from Benitz Service Company has us back up and running so we will be back on schedule for Friday.

We make dough daily for use in 24-72 hours. Our dough needs that time to ferment/rise to give us the texture and flavor we want.

So moral of the story, don’t wait too long today to order your pizzas!

There are moments that remind us just how blessed we are by this little community. ❤️

A sweet customer surprised us with the most beautiful homemade coconut crème cookies. They were absolutely delicious! Coconut isn’t usually Mr. Jeff’s favorite, but even these made him smile. 😊

Thank you for all the kindness, love, and friendships that Rustic Roots has brought into our lives. It’s people like you who make this place so much more than a restaurant. We appreciate you more than you’ll ever know!
