Caroline’s Seaside Café by Giuseppe Restaurants & Fine Catering is a restaurant located on the UCSD Scripps Institute of Oceanography campus in the Seaside Forum, serving healthy and creative California style cuisine with a focus on organic and sustainable sources, hormone free meats and poultry. The cafe features breakfast and lunch with a selection of daily, seasonal specials which are available

at the counter all day. Caroline’s Seaside Cafe is reflective of the UCSD Seaside Forum with a contemporary look with approximately 40 seats inside and 40 on the outside ocean view terrace. No reservations required but seating is based on a first come, first serve basis.

Important Update: Due to maintenance at the Scripps Seaside Forum, we will be temporarily closed starting December 15, 2025.

✅ Yep! If you really want to wow guests, host an evening celebration at our seaside venue just steps from La Jolla Shores! 🌊

Caroline’s is a unique venue for your end-of-year celebrations but availability is very limited as private events are only available in the evenings after the Café has closed.
