A New Weekly Lunch Tradition Is Coming to La Grange!

Beginning Wednesday, September 16, Pinkies Out Tea Parlor and From the Ground Up Books are introducing our Favorite Family Recipe weekly lunch specials.

Each week, one of our team members will share a favorite recipe and the story behind it. These are the dishes that remind us of family dinners, childhood kitchens, celebrations, and the people we love.

The featured dish will be served Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, while supplies last. A new Favorite Family Recipe will be introduced each week.

We’re beginning with a recipe from Lynn and Lora’s family. Their grandmother created Pap’s Special and named it for their grandfather. It features seasoned ground beef in a savory mushroom sauce with onions and green peppers, served on a bun with optional provolone cheese and chips on the side.

Our complete lunch menu will also be available, including luncheon sandwiches, scones, desserts, and a selection of teas. The weekly special is something new to enjoy alongside all your Pinkies Out favorites.

Join us at our La Grange location. Lunch is open to everyone, walk-ins are welcome, and no reservation is required.

TOMORROW’S THE DAY, LA GRANGE!

Pinkies Out Tea Parlor is officially opening for lunch and OPEN SEATING tomorrow inside From the Ground Up Books in La Grange!

The BOOKSTORE opens at 10 AM, lunch service begins at 11 AM, and the bookstore stays open until 5 PM.

No special event. No tea party required. Just come on in, grab a table, choose your tea, and stay for lunch, scones, or a little something sweet. Walk-ins are welcome, and reservations are recommended but not required!

A little note about our first day: we have a family emergency that has left us a bit short-handed tomorrow. We’re opening those doors anyway! We just ask for a little extra patience and grace while our smaller-than-planned crew gets into the swing of things.

Come have lunch, browse the books, sip some tea, and help us celebrate this brand-new chapter at our La Grange location.

Bookstore: 10 AM–5 PM
Pinkies Out Lunch: 11 AM–4 PM

We have some exciting news to share about Pinkies at our La Grange location! Starting August 12th, Pinkies Out Tea Parlor will be open Wednesdays through Saturdays for both reservations and walk-ins, plus two Sundays a month! We are expanding our menu to include lunch and have both cream tea and the tiered tray available!
