Beyond Grateful for This Community!

I’m honestly beyond grateful and completely blown away by all of the support we received today. 🥹❤️

Today, the storms created unsafe conditions for both vendors and guests, which led the event host to make the difficult decision to cancel Market on Market today.

Unfortunately, freshly made baked goods are perishable and can’t simply be saved for another event. I’ll admit, seeing the amount of baked goods I had prepared made me a little nervous. But those nerves quickly disappeared because of YOU, this incredible community.

Within an hour of the cancellation announcement, we received so many messages and texts from both new and existing customers reaching out to place orders. We also saw fellow vendors sharing our posts and helping spread the word so that we bakers could find homes for our goods.

Seeing all of your comments, messages, shares, and posts truly warmed my heart. It’s moments like these that remind me why I keep going and why all the long hours, sacrifices, and sleep deprivation are worth it.

Every order, kind word, review, recommendation, shared, and piece of feedback means more to me than you know. Your support allows me to keep pushing forward and continue sharing a little piece of my culture, my upbringing, and my heart through the food I create.

Thank you for welcoming El Coqui’s Kitchen into this community and for allowing me to share my love of baking and my Latin-inspired flavors with you all.

Market on Market menu. Tomorrow is expected to have rainy weather. If you would like for me to put your order on hold, please message me. Arrangement for pick up or local delivery available.

Update to the menu:

Unfortunately, I ran out of time. We will not have the Pineapple Upside Cake, Pan de Mallorca Guava
and the Churro cookie. However, we will make sure it is available for the West Salem Amercian Legion Craft show on 10/3.
