A little honesty from behind the scenes. 💗

The last week and a half has been equal parts beautiful, exciting, exhausting, and humbling.

The support for our newest NOM has exceeded every expectation I had, and while we’re incredibly grateful, we’re also working hard to catch up to growth that happened faster than we ever imagined.

We’re listening. We’re learning. We’re improving every single day.

✨ Happy 2nd Birthday, NOM! ✨

2 years of NOM, 3 locations later… or maybe 3.5 if you count our smoothie bowl bike 😉🚲💕

And tomorrow, we officially celebrate the grand opening of NOM-Ona, something that feels almost impossible to put into words.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about everything that’s happened over the last two years.

When I started NOM, I had no idea what to expect. I never imagined we’d grow into what we are today, and I certainly never imagined I’d have the opportunity to open multiple locations doing something I love so much. This truly is a dream come true.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen.

To Jen at Meringue Bakery, thank you for taking a chance on a little coffee and smoothie bowl café and welcoming us into your incredible space.

To my family and friends, thank you for the countless hours of construction help, encouragement, and moral support (and for listening to all of my crazy ideas 😅).

To every NOM employee, past and present, thank you. Your hard work, dedication, and belief in what we’re building made this growth possible.

And to our loyal, incredible customers, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. None of this would be possible without your support, your visits, your shares, your recommendations, and your love for our healthy noms. 🩷

It’s easy to look at someone’s success and wish you were where they are.

What’s harder to see are the hundreds of days and nights spent working when nobody was watching.

The early mornings.
The late nights.
The mistakes.
The setbacks.
The risks.
The moments they wanted to quit but didn’t.

Don’t compare your Day 1 to someone else’s Year 5.

Tonight I’m here after hours: labeling bottles and prepping our bike for Farmer’s Market tomorrow.

Not glamorous. Not exciting.

But this is what building a dream actually looks like.

Success is often disguised as repetitive work.
