ch with color, textures and artistic flair. Jennifer Lester and Erik Kleven created their first restaurant Bleu Duck Kitchen in Rochester six years ago, and are thrilled about this new endeavor. "We have been looking for a space to expand our business for quite some time and you could say that the stars finally aligned when we found this gem in La Crosse, " says Jenny. "Erik grew up in La Crosse which makes this all even that much more special!"

Our goal was to stay open until April 30th.
Unfortunately, we have ran into some unforeseen circumstances and our LAST DAY will be this Saturday, March 28th.

There are 44 days left until closing, and we wanted to share early photos to remember the first days of Pato and commemorate our time with you while we can. It is a gift to be able to serve food to people in this community, and we deeply appreciate all of your love and support for Pato.

Dear La Crosse Community,

After a lot of thought, reflection, and many difficult conversations, we've made the decision to close our doors at Taqueria Pato Azul.
During the last 3 1/2 years, we have truly enjoyed being a part of this community.

To our incredible team — PAST AND PRESENT — thank you for your hard work, heart, and dedication. You brought this place to life every single day.

To our loyal guests, thank you for every meal shared, every kind word, every review, every recommendation, and every time you choose to walk through our doors. Your support means everything.

While this chapter is coming to an end, our sister restaurant Bleu Duck Kitchen in Rochester will continue and all gift cards you may retain will be honored there.
Any loyalty points will not be transferable however and will be able to be used until our last day of service, which will be~ Thursday, April 30th.

We hope to see many regular faces in the coming months to send us off and say farewell.
