🎉 Celebrating 50 Years of The Big V – A Family Tradition Continues! 🎉

This year, we’re celebrating a huge milestone—50 years of serving LaBelle with good food, great company, and a whole lot of heart at The Big V!

Back in 1975, my dad, Don Davis, built the Big V building, and my Uncle Wayne and Aunt Melba turned it into a restaurant. In 1984, Dad took over, and for 34 years, he poured his heart and soul into this place, making it a true LaBelle landmark. When he passed in 2018, I was honored to continue his legacy. Over the past 7 years, I’ve worked hard to spruce things up, but it’s always been important to me that The Big V’s heritage lives on—that my dad’s presence is still felt every time someone walks through the door.

We are Hendry County’s oldest family-run restaurant, and it’s been a family effort to keep it going. My sister Patsy ran it for 20 years for Dad, and my sister Paula and I have spent countless hours cooking and managing. Through it all, The Big V has remained what Dad always wanted it to be—a place where everyone feels at home.

To celebrate 50 years, we’re giving back to the people who’ve made this possible—YOU! 🎉
