Stop by for some good home town cooking, located in the heart of central Utah. Food is great, and company is even better. Located within hours of three national parks and several other state parks. 5+ great fishing lakes within 30 miles. And the ATV trails are awesome.

***🚨**FRIDAY RIB ALERT: 8 RACKS LEFT & IT’S A FREE-FOR-ALL.** 🚨

Alright people, here’s the situation: We smoked **18 total racks** of ribs for Friday. 10 of them were called for immediately by people who clearly don't play around when it comes to meat.

That leaves **8 lonely racks** standing between you and pure happiness, and we are letting them go on a first-come, first-served basis.

**THE BATTLE PLAN:**
* **2:00 PM:** The gates open. The madness begins.
* **THE DEADLINE:** It ends the second those 8 racks vanish, or at **7:00 PM**—whichever happens first (and let's be real, they won't last until 7).
* **THE RULES:** No calling ahead, no holding them, and no bribing the cook.

If you want one of these last 8 racks, put on your sprinting shoes, stretch out those hammies, and get to Koosharem Cafe at 2:00 sharp. May the hungriest person win! 🍖🔥🏁

A massive thank you to everyone for your incredible patience, understanding, and all the warm birthday wishes! As it turns out, the universe decided my planned one-day birthday closure wasn't quite enough, so it generously gifted me a brutal stomach bug that kept me completely bedridden for the two days prior. Surviving on misery and staring at the ceiling wasn't exactly how I pictured kicking off my birthday, but reading all your kind messages while I was out of commission truly meant the world to me.

The great news is, I am finally back on my feet, the flattop is hot, and the Cafe is officially back open! Thank you again for being the absolute best community and for giving your one and only cook the grace to recover. Come on down and let me make it up to you with some actual food—I promise I am done holding the grill hostage for a while! 🍔🙌"

UPDATE: to our wonderful customers:

As previously posted, Our grill would be closed Thursday the 27th for the cooks Birthday, well This morning our wonderful cook woke up sick and He had to take the afternoon to address it, Unfortunately, we are going to have to keep the cafe closed tomorrow (Wednesday ) he has officially come down with that nasty viral stomach bug that has been making the rounds! Im sure thats just how he wanted to spend his special day.
our absolute top priority will always be the health and safety of our guests. We are so incredibly sorry for the inconvenience, especially to those who were planning to visit us during their travels. Thank you so much for your grace, your well-wishes, and for continuing to support our little mom-and-pop shop. We hope he gets better soon and is able to spend that one special day (27th) doing something he loves and is and ready to open strong this Friday!
We will keep you updated and hope to be back behind the grill serving you soon!

unfortunately our cook woke up sick today and we will be closing the grill tonight, we deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we will be back open for you all as soon as possible.

🚨 **IMPORTANT CAFE UPDATE: THE GRILL IS GETTING A DAY OFF.** 🚨

Here is a little behind-the-scenes reality check about Koosharem Cafe: We only have one cook. (That is Branden) That means if he don't fire up the flattop, nobody gets fed.

And this **Thursday, August 27th**, nobody is getting fed. The Cafe will be officially **CLOSED**.

Before you panic, here is the reason why: It is his birthday! 🎉

He absolutely loves cooking for this town, and he genuinely loves seeing all of you. But as we push through our full-time summer stretch (running May through October is no joke!), He is taking a single day to catch his breath. After months of slinging burgers, serving up his Father In-laws (what's the difference between an In-law and an Outlaw?Outlaws are actually wanted! Jk Dad we love you) famous chowder, and keeping the Cafe rolling, his only plans for Thursday are to stay far away from a kitchen, sit in a comfortable chair, and make someone else cook for *Him* for a change. (Hopefully the kids and not I)

**Here is the game plan for this week:**
* **Thursday (Aug 27):** CLOSED. Go enjoy a home-cooked meal, because he certainly won't be cooking one!
* **Friday (Aug 28):** OPEN. We will be back to our regular schedule, fully rested, and ready to get back to work.

Thank you all for keeping us incredibly busy and for always supporting the Koosharem Cafe. We truly appreciate every single one of you, and we wouldn't trade this job for anything... he just wants a 24-hour break from his spatula and knives! 😉

A legend was born at koosharem cafe today! NASH came in with a big appetite and absolutly conquered our DOUBLE cheese burger. TWO 1/3 lb patties +bun and toppings. Most grown men struggle to finish it. Were impressed, our staff gives you a standing ovation 👏 come back anytime Nash!
