Come on out to the Kokomo Farmers Market today from 9am to Noon!

We are collecting Hygiene Products for our September Hygiene Drive. We give out over 100 hygiene kits a month. Check the comments for a full list of hygiene products that we need.

And as an extra special treat 🍪, CAM’s Heather (formerly owner of Lucky Lemon Bakery) has baked up vegan treats for a one time event to raise funds for CAM. With the help of CAM’s clients Heather made:

-Pumpkin Whoopie Pies 🎃
-Gluten Free Oatmeal Cream Pies
-Blueberry Muffin Cookies 🫐
-Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪

All proceeds to go directly to CAM!!

UPDATE & MINI POP-UP!!

I know you all have been wondering what Heather from Lucky Lemon Bakery has been up to lately.

I am now working for Coordinated Assistance Ministries - CAM supporting all the great work that they are doing in Kokomo.

This Saturday, September 20th, Heather and the CAM crew will be out at the Kokomo Farmers Market from 9am to Noon collecting Hygiene Products AND selling Vegan Cookies all proceeds will go directly to CAM!

Come out an grab a treat, donate some hygiene supplies, and say hi.

It’s crazy to think that 8 years ago, the baby I was super pregnant with on the front page of the Kokomo Tribune making Vegan Cupcakes was born.

And today is the last day of service at Lucky Lemon Bakery.

I can’t believe how much has happened in the last eight years. I’m so grateful for all those that have watched and supported us as we have grown so much. From baking vegan cookies in my mom’s kitchen to opening an amazing restaurant. I’ve grown as a person, a mother, and chef.

I am so thankful for all the experiences and people that Lucky Lemon Bakery has brought me and my kids over the years.

I’ve loved seeing everyone of you over the last few days, wishing me luck on my new adventures.

We are trying to run through the ingredients we have on hand for the last day, so we will be limiting our savory options and are available until we sell out.

And a few other items are still available today.

I’m baking as fast as I can with cookies and treats.

We are open until 4pm today and I hope to see you all.

Hi Lucky Lemon Fans.

I have been trying to figure out this post for the last few days. It’s a bittersweet announcement.

I have been offered an amazing opportunity and unfortunately it means I will be closing Lucky Lemon Bakery. Our last day of service will be this Saturday, July 20th.

I have been so blessed and honored to serve you all. I have loved seeing and getting the know each and every one of you. Seeing the joy on people’s face when they find their favorite treat. Knowing that something as simple as vegan cookie brightens someone’s day. All the kiddos with dairy and egg allergies that I made their first birthday cakes. All the nursing mamas that had to go dairy free and could finally have a treat. All the new vegans that get overwhelmed with choosing from an entire menu. Everyone that I helped convince to try vegan food for the first time and made them realize that vegan food could be great.

I has been my privilege to get to serve each and every one of you. This is not the total end to Lucky Lemon. I don’t know exactly what the future holds but I will still share great vegan food in a different capacity.

I hope the see you all the next few days. I will be baking my heart out to make sure you can stock up on your favorite cookies. And maybe a few other fan favorites.

I will miss you all.

I have revamped the entire menu. We are transitioning to focus more on desserts and I am currently testing new sweet recipes that involve our fryer (hint 🍩). So that being said we are no longer offering French fries and other fried items on the menu.

We are shifting more to veggie forward savory items and seasonal options. I know I have removed some of your favorite items but I promise you will be able to find something great on the new menu.

We have a semi-new In-House Made Veggie Burger. This is the same recipe that we had created for The Coterie YEARS ago. I dusted off the recipe and updated it. Made with a blend of Eggplant, Mushrooms, Brown Rice, and Veggies seared to perfection and served on a toasted Potato Bun with Caramelized Onions, Lettuce, Tomato, Grillo’s Pickles, and a drizzle of our new in-house made Sweet Onion BBQ Sauce.

I also couldn’t pass up all the great produce at the market this weekend and made my Sweet Corn Okra Tomato Curry served with Rice.

Please understand this transition. I want to provide great quality options for you all.
