We’re adding dog treats to our menu! 🐕🐕 🐕

Say hello to our Sleepy Dog Special! A pup-sized mix of pumpkin, peanut butter, crunchy dog biscuits, and a fluffy swirl of whipped cream. Bring your pup by this weekend and let them enjoy their own special treat, and get yourself one as well 😉

We'll be at the 12th annual Holiday Marketplace at Ijams on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 10 am to 3 pm! Discover and support local artisans and creators as you browse through a diverse selection of handmade treasures including beautiful jewelry, natural body products, artisanal candles, pottery, apparel, and so much more! This event will also include local food trucks (Chef Mo's Cafe, Open Road Wood Fired Pizza, Pancake Daddy's, Sleepy Dog Coffee) and a variety of other baked good vendors!

This event will be held both inside the Visitor Center and outside of the Visitor Center on the plaza at Ijams Nature Center. The Ijams Gift Shop will remain accessible throughout the event, showcasing unique products from over 100 local makers!

We'll be at the 18th Annual Mardi Growl this Saturday from 11am to 3pm!!

Calling all pet owners, animal welfare advocates and people searching for a fun family-friendly time! Be part of Knoxville’s biggest pet parade! The paw-rade starts in the Old City at 11 a.m. and will go through the streets of Downtown Knoxville to World’s Fair Park. Register your pet to participate in the parade, or join the thousands of spectators along the route. The total parade route is approximately 1.2 miles and ends at our festival on the Performance Lawn at World’s Fair Park. After the parade, have a dog-gone good time at our pet festival with nearly 100 pet-loving vendors, food trucks, live music, games and more.
Mardi Growl is one of our favorite traditions and benefits the more than 11,000 pets that need care annually at Young-Williams Animal Center. Show off your creativity and pet’s personality by competing in costume contests, shop from local vendors and celebrate our shared love for pets. Mardi Growl not only raises funds through parade registrations and sponsorship opportunities, but it also celebrates our pet-loving community and the businesses who make our work possible.
