A little over two years ago, we packed up our lives and moved our family to Tennessee — stepping into what felt like a brand new chapter.
Not long after arriving, we attended the Water Lantern Festival for the first time. Still new to this place, still learning what “home” would feel like, we found ourselves surrounded by something unexpectedly meaningful. A night rooted in reflection, connection, and community. Hundreds of lanterns floating across the water, each carrying a story, a memory, a hope.
It stayed with us.
Fast forward to now, and somehow we get to experience it from an entirely different perspective.
This year, Chapter Nine Coffee will be part of the Water Lantern Festival in Knoxville.
What once became a meaningful memory for our family now becomes an opportunity to serve, connect, and be part of an experience that had such a profound impact on us in the beginning.
There’s something really special about life coming full circle, and we truly can’t wait to share this experience with you.
