Smoky Mtn Market Fundraising - Catering - Event Rentals Reestablished by the Rushing family in 1971, thousands of local residents, U.T.

The original Smoky Mountain Market at 2002 Chapman Hwy was started in 1936 just south of the Henley Street Bridge, across the river from the University of Tennessee. Students and visitors have helped spread the praise of our hot dogs. Lending truth to the claim "World Famous" Smoky Mtn Market hot dogs! This is the name and flavor you remember from your yesteryear. In the past, on a Game Day weekend, this market has made and sold up to 8,000 hotdogs. No one is really sure how many millions of world-famous Smoky Mtn Market Hotdogs have been sold over the years.
