Purdue Alumni took a trip down memory lane with our original stuffed breadsticks! We used to pack the oven full of them when we had our business in Lafayette, Indiana!

We enjoyed their company today and happily made some for them! They took home 32 stuffed breadsticks so they have Alfano’s with them right there in their home!

🍕❤️ Community is what happens when local businesses decide to make a difference. ❤️🍕

A huge THANK YOU to Alfano's Pizza in Knoxville for their incredible $500 donation from their Sunshine for Seniors event held in early June!

What does $500 mean to VNA Community Services?

🍽️ It will cover an entire week's worth of groceries for our Congregate Meal Program, helping us serve dozens of seniors each day with fresh, nutritious meals and a welcoming place to gather.

🚗 It could also provide an entire month of Home Delivered Meals for four local seniors, ensuring they continue receiving nutritious meals right at their doorstep when getting out isn't an option.

That's the power of a community coming together.

This year we've been asking our neighbors to stand with Knox County seniors, and Knoxville showed up in a big way. Businesses, customers, and community members proved that even a simple meal out can make a lasting impact on someone else's life.

To everyone who attended the event, ordered pizza, spread the word, or helped make it happen—thank you. Your support is making sure older adults throughout Knox County have access to the nutrition and connection they deserve.

And if you're looking for your next pizza night, do us a favor and head to Alfano's Pizza in Knoxville. Every slice comes from a business that has demonstrated its commitment to giving back to the community it serves.

From all of us at VNA—and from the seniors whose lives are brighter because of your generosity—thank you, Alfano's! 🍕💙

Tuesday June 2nd we are partnering with The Volunteer Network on Aging-VNA Community Services to donate 25% on each Large pizza sold that day!

Some places don’t just make pizza.

They create an atmosphere so authentic you half expect an old Italian grandmother to emerge from the kitchen yelling at someone for not eating enough. ☀️🍕

Alfano’s Pizza in Knoxville feels like a classic Italian pizza parlor somehow transplanted directly into rural Knox County — and we are all better for it.

The smells.
The bustle.
The endless menu possibilities.
The beautiful chaos of dough, cheese, sauce, and hungry people all colliding in one glorious experience.

You might walk in hungry and in a hurry… but Alfano’s will absolutely find a way to feed you.

Stuffed crust.
Thin crust.
Traditional pies.
Mountains of toppings.
Classic combinations.
And everything in between.

Their particular brand of Italian magic has been satisfying Knox County appetites for years, one pizza at a time. And honestly, one bite is often enough to have you throwing your hands in the air proclaiming:

“Molto Bene!” ☀️

Now Alfano's Pizza in Knoxville is helping support Knox County seniors through “Sunshine for Seniors 2026” by donating a percentage of sales from every large pizza sold on June 2nd to VNA Community Services.

So grab the family.
Call your friends.
Order the giant pizza.
And support one of Knoxville’s most beloved local establishments while helping provide meals and support for food insecure seniors throughout Knox County.

Because nothing brings people together quite like great pizza and a great cause. ☀️💛

Huge thank you to everyone at Alfano’s Pizza for stepping up to support our seniors and help bring sunshine to Knox County all June long.
