I do custom scratch cakes and other goodies including cookies, cake pops, and macarons. What is an online bakery?
-This just means I do not have a storefront. When you place an order, we will discuss locations for pickup or delivery. So, you bake out of your home?
-Technically, yes! The bakery is attached to my home. However, it is a dedicated "cake kitchen" that is 100% closed off from my home. I

t even has it's own outdoor entrance. No other food is prepped here. Is baking out of your home legal?
-Yes! Under Tennessee Cottage Laws, I can make and sell baked goods that do not require refrigeration out of my home. I have a business license and have been registered with the state. Is it safe?
-Absolutely! I've always had a passion for baked goods, and that led me to work in a grocery store bakery, where I received plenty of food safety training that I still implement today.
