🚨 PSA: The cops are coming to Unhinged tomorrow.
No, we didn’t finally push Hinge too far. (He promised to behave.)
Tomorrow morning from 8–10 AM, officers from Knightdale PD will be hanging out at Unhinged for Coffee with a Cop.
No speeches.
No agenda.
No emergencies.
Just coffee and conversation.
One of the things we love most about this community is creating spaces where people who might not otherwise cross paths get the chance to simply…talk.
For some people, seeing a police uniform brings comfort.
For others, it brings questions, uncertainty, or even anxiety and trauma.
Both experiences can exist at the same time.
That’s why events like this matter. They create room for conversations in an environment that isn’t a crisis. They let kids meet officers over a hot chocolate instead of during a moment of fear. They remind all of us that relationships are built one conversation at a time.
Whether you have questions, want your kids to meet local officers, or you’re just stopping in for your morning coffee, we’d love to see you.
