Meet our newest bakery creation... think Suzie Q, but bigger, richer, fresher, and made the Hope Street way.

Two layers of moist chocolate cake, filled with fluffy vanilla marshmallow cream, and covered in a decadent chocolate ganache that drips down every side. One bite and you'll understand why this might be our favorite dessert we've ever made.

Well... our label printer officially decided to retire without giving a two-week notice. 😅

Because of that, you'll notice that many of our baked goods are unlabeled this weekend.

To make sure everyone has access to ingredient and allergen information, we've created a complete ingredient sheet for every item available in the barn this weekend. A copy will be posted inside the barn, and we'll have extra copies available for anyone who would like to take one home.

Does local honey actually help allergies? 🤧🐝

As a beekeeper… this is hard for me to admit publicly 😂

Because I WANT this to be true.

But after digging into the actual studies, the science basically says:
“Maybe a little for some people(placebo)… but there’s no strong proof it reliably works.”

The biggest reason?

Most seasonal allergies come from:
🌾 grass pollen
🌲 tree pollen
🌱 w**d pollen

And bees mostly collect flower pollen 🌸

So the pollen in honey often isn’t even the same pollen causing allergy symptoms.

Now before everyone panics…

We’re still soaking it all in and enjoying a little time away, but we wanted to remind everyone that the Hope Street Farmstand will be open Saturday & Sunday this week instead of our normal schedule.

Also, a huge shout out to Cherry Blossom Boutique for helping Nikki find the PERFECT dress for our Vegas wedding. Absolutely stunning! 🌹
