It's been two weeks, which means that it's time to update the Viking scores. The big winner over the last two weeks was Virginia with a crazy 17 Vikings finished!!! In second was North Carolina adding 8 and in third was Maryland adding 6. The changes in the standings are as follows. Maryland made a big jump from 10th to 6th and Ohio moved from 5th to 4th. Bosnia didn't move, but doubling their Viking count from 2 to 4 solidifies their spot at #7. Finally, we have South Carolina checking in at #18!!! For the full scores, click on the link.

     VIKINGS LORE:  When Spanky's first opened we offered a one-pound burger.  Less than two weeks after we opened, two customers (Mark & Brian Zeiber) each requested and finished two of our one pound burgers each.  As a 'joke' we added a two pound burger (AKA The Mad Viking) to our menu.....

VIKING UPDATE 6 of 6: Last, but not least; Michael is a regular Viking eater. Today Michael added a Viking for Virginia which means that despite a slow start, Virginia finished VERY strong.

Viking Update 5 of 6: Although we know the real name isn't Dumbledore that's the name he wanted to use so Dumbledore scores a point for Virginia!!!

Viking Update 4 of 6: In 2023 and 2025 South Carolina finished the year in the top 10, part of the reason was Zachory is a regular contributor. This year Zachary notched another Viking for South Carolina, but Zachary will need some help if South Carolina wants to finish in the top 10, again.

VIKING UPDATE 3 of 6: Next up was Tyler who finished a Viking for...Virginia!!! Tyler was smart he came with his dad who paid. I believe Tyler's brother came a few days before, without dad, therefore Tyler's brother didn't have a Viking paid for by his dad. Smart work Tyler!!!

Viking Update 2 of 6: Virginia started this week slow, but as expected they finished strong. This being said, today Darrell finished a Viking for...Virginia.

When you wake up and step outside you can focus on the chaos around you (no matter where you live there are bad things to look at) or you can turn your attention to something positive. Even if you don't have time to go to the beach, a sunset and/or sunrise make for a positive experience no matter where you live and it's as close as your front or back door. Whenever I need a great picture, I steal/borrow them from our oldest daughter Anna; our youngest daughter also takes great pictures. Always try to find your cup half full, it's VERY important for your mental health.

VIKING UPDATE 2 of 2: Virginia had a slow start to the week, but they've been stepping up their game at the end. Today Walt added a Viking for Virginia extending Virginia's lead.

VIKING UPDATE 1 of 2: Today we started with Jesse finishing a Viking for Virginia while Sanela and Vi BOTH finished a Viking for Bosnia. The big story is Bosnia; Bosnia was in 7th place with two Vikings. Two Vikings 'probably' isn't enough for Bosnia to finish in the top 10, but adding two more Vikings means Bosnia has four Vikings and that really should be enough to keep Bosnia in the top 10 for the year. We also have a Viking in training in the picture, he finished a 1/2 pound burger.
