🔥 Jerk Sweet Chili Cornish Hens 🍗🔥
Juicy oven-baked Cornish hens seasoned with bold Jamaican jerk flavors and glazed with a sticky sweet chili honey sauce. Crispy skin, tender meat, and the perfect balance of sweet and spicy!
🛒 Ingredients:
For the Cornish Hens:
* 2 Cornish hens
* 1 tbsp Jamaican jerk seasoning
* 1 tbsp garlic, minced
* 1 tsp browning sauce
* 1 tsp adobo seasoning
* 1 tsp black pepper
* 1 tsp onion powder
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* 1 tsp ground ginger
* 1 tsp dried thyme
For the Sweet Chili Glaze:
* ¼ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
* ¼ cup honey
* 2 tbsp ketchup
👩🍳 Directions:
1. Preheat oven to **375°F (190°C)**.
2. Season the Cornish hens all over with adobo seasoning, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, ground ginger, and thyme.
3. In a large bowl, combine the seasoned hens with minced garlic, jerk seasoning, and browning sauce.
4. Rub everything together until the hens are fully coated.
5. Place the hens in a shallow baking dish.
6. Bake uncovered for **40 minutes**, basting every **10–15 minutes** with the pan juices.
7. In a small bowl, mix together the sweet chili sauce, honey, and ketchup.
8. Remove the hens from the oven and spoon about three-quarters of the glaze over the hens.
9. Return to the oven and bake for another **40 minutes**, continuing to baste every **10–15 minutes**.
10. Remove from the oven and spoon the remaining glaze over the hens.
11. Let rest for **5 minutes** before serving.
