💗 A Little Recovery Update

Hi everyone. I wanted to finally check in since I haven’t posted since early Tuesday morning on my way to the hospital. 🙏

I’m home now, resting and healing one day at a time, and I’m very thankful to say my recovery has been going well with no complications.

The procedure took a little longer than expected. During surgery, they also found a cyst on my left o***y, which they were able to remove, along with scar tissue from my previous C-section.

Today I’m feeling much better. The pain is manageable, I’m eating better, the headaches are improving, and I’m slowly getting up and moving around the house as I heal. 💗

I’m incredibly grateful for my husband Juan Carlos Alberty Nieves , who has been right by my side from day one — at the hospital, at home, and through every part of this recovery. ❤️ My girls have also been amazing helpers, especially with their little sister.

I’m also so thankful for our church family and youth pastors who have prayed for us, checked on us, and made sure our family is okay. 🙏

I’m definitely not 100% yet, but every day is a little better than the one before.
Most of all, I’m thankful to God for His strength, protection, and for carrying me through all of this. ✨

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, checked on me, supported our family, and continued supporting Zoily’s.

Zoily’s is still here. 🍪💗 I’ll continue sharing updates and our shipping journey as I feel up to it, but for now, healing comes first.

💗 A Personal Update Before Tomorrow's Procedure

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to minister through dance at our 2nd home Centro De La Familia Cristiana and today I’m holding onto that same faith as I prepare for tomorrow. 🙏✨

Tomorrow morning, Tuesday, September 8, I’ll be undergoing my scheduled major surgery related to severe endometriosis.

For the next several weeks, I’ll be stepping away from custom cake and custom treat production so I can focus on healing, recovery, and taking things one day at a time. 💗

I want to thank every single person who has prayed for me, sent me a message, supported Zoily’s, placed an order, shared our posts, participated in our first shipping test, or simply encouraged me along the way. Your love and support truly mean more than I can explain. 🥹🙏

Zoily’s is not disappearing. 🍪💗 We’ve been working behind the scenes on our Jumbo Cookie shipping program, seasonal collections, and other exciting things for the future. I’ll continue sharing updates as I’m able during recovery.

For now, custom cakes and custom treats remain temporarily paused, and I’ll reopen availability once I’m medically cleared and ready to return to full production.
This season is asking me to slow down, trust God, and allow myself the time I need to heal. I’m carrying a lot of faith into tomorrow and believing that God will continue to guide every step. 🙏✨

A Personal & Important Update from Zoily’s 💗

I wanted to personally share an important update with all of our wonderful customers, followers, and everyone who continues to support Zoily’s Cakes & Pastries.

On Tuesday, September 8, I will be undergoing a major surgery related to severe endometriosis. Because of the recovery time required, I will need to temporarily step away from custom cake and custom treat production for approximately six weeks.

At this time, our custom-order calendar is already fully booked through Saturday, September 5. After those final scheduled orders are completed, custom cakes and custom treats will be placed on a temporary pause while I focus on healing and recovery.

That being said, Zoily’s will NOT be completely closed during this time. 💗

🍪📦 Our Jumbo Cookie shipping will continue, with orders closing every Friday and shipping every Tuesday.

This new shipping chapter is something we have been working very hard toward, and I am truly excited that you will still be able to enjoy a little piece of Zoily’s while I take the time needed to recover.

Custom cake availability will reopen once I am medically cleared and ready to return to full production. I will make sure to keep everyone updated as that time gets closer.

To every customer who has trusted me with your birthdays, baby showers, quinceañeras, weddings, graduations, family celebrations, and so many other special moments — thank you from the bottom of my heart.
