Due to everyone's desire great food and atmosphere, we need help and Casa Rosa Cucina is looking to expand our team with
a qualified and experienced Line Cook to assist Sous Chef and Head Chef at Northeast Ohio's Premier Italian Steakhouse. Train under one of Lake, Cuyahoga, Geauga Counties top chefs, Executive Chef Todd Hargis. Right person will be able to handle Sous Chef responsibilities as we expand hours of operation over the next few weeks. Currently, we have a team of 4 Chefs and looking to expand. Responsibilities include prep, assist training more inexperienced staff, dish, grill, light fry duty, dish, pantry, and expediter. We strive for everyone to be capable in all areas of kitchen. We can train the right individual.

To everyone who joined us for our Mother’s Day celebration at Casa Rosa Cucina, thank you for choosing to spend such a special day with us. Seeing families gathered around our tables, celebrating the women who do so much for all of us, is exactly why we do what we do.

We take so much pride in creating an experience that feels warm, elevated, and centered around family. From the food to the service to every small detail in between, our goal is always to make people feel taken care of the moment they walk through our doors.

At Casa Rosa Cucina, so much of what we do started in the kitchen with the women in our family. The recipes, the traditions, the way we gather around a table and make people feel at home.

This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and strong women who built the foundation for generations of family meals, memories, and moments together. 🤍

A special evening at Casa Rosa Cucina that we will be thinking about for a long time.

We had the privilege of hosting a private six course wine tasting, paired with six beautifully selected glasses of wine, each one chosen to complement the next and guide the experience from start to finish.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the night feel so intentional and memorable. There is something powerful about slowing down, sharing a table, and experiencing food and wine in this way together.

A very special thank you to Fausto for leading the tasting with such depth, knowledge, and presence. Your passion for wine elevated every part of the evening.

Starting this week, join us every Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 5 PM for a little taste of Italy before dinner. While aperitivo traditionally begins later overseas, we are bringing the experience to your schedule.

Think small bites, a glass of wine, and time to connect with friends and family before the evening begins. Enjoy 25% off all appetizers, specialty cocktails, and wines by the glass or bottle. Chef may even have a few extra surprises waiting for you.

So many things going on I hope you don't lose interest when reading everything. That was a joke I know you won't. Let me start off by saying thank you to everyone. This has been so much fun and Mimi and I can't imagine not being here and working hard to make your dining experience memorable. We constantly talk amongst our staff, Niko, Marie. Todd, Tyler, Dee, Josh, Trent, Maddie, Cheryl, Jennifer, Rylee, and Franki on how to make your experience better. So let's begin...

Casa Rosa Cucina is presenting our first of many wine and bourbon tasting/pairing dinners and this one is brought to you by European Wines & Zeni Winery from Italy. A 6 course meal with fantastic wines of Zeni paired with each course while the Owner Fausto elaborates on each to enhance your culinary experience. Wines will also be available for sale during and after dinner and Fausto will be signing bottles by request. Attached photo has details and we are filling up fast and once you see the menu you will know why.

Starting this week, every Wednesday and Thursday we will be having Aperitivo Ora from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Yes in Italy it usually starts at 6 but they eat much later than we do here in the US. It is about sharing a quick bite, glass of wine, a snack with friends and family prior to dinner. We will be offering all appetizers, specialty cocktails, and wines by the glass or bottle at 25% off. Chef may also have some extra treats as well. Will be served at Bar, Restaurant, and Patio - WHEN IT OPENS

As any of our customers know, we have a pretty extensive wine and bourbon list and we will be featuring many dinners featuring each. On Monday May 4th we will be hosting our fist wine tasting and dinner event. This is where Chef Todd shines and attached you will see the menu. We have 42 seats available and will start taking reservations immediately. Prepayment is required as we have limited seating - details in attachment.

Now I usually stay out of the kitchen unless I am needed or have something I want. If I want it I can almost guarantee you will want it as well. That being said, we are working on our Spring/Summer Menu and let me tell you this is hard...really hard but we are releasing it soon and hopefully for our One Year Anniversary - can you believe it? We have the patio coming as well and it will perfectly coincide with our new really unique small plates. Also, we will have a Chef's Tasting Dinner a Casa Caveman Dinner coming your way. The Chef's Tasting will vary and have recommendations for wines. Chef would prefer we make this a table event and request it at time of reservation but we are still working out details. The Casa Caveman Dinner will be an omnivore's dream. Lamb Chops and Veal Chops or Pork Chops and Steak served with fresh creamed spinach. That's it...meat, meat, and a vegetable just to make you feel good. An Old Fashioned and a bottle of Amarone and you may think you are in Heaven. Writing this i making me hungry and since I have the Amarone opened I am starting the grill.

Wow.

So If I accommodated everyone's request I would have to build another building to hold everything and serve everyone. But we do want to appease our customers so we have added some really really cool spirits. Belvedere Vodka Larceny, Bookers, Redemption, Calumet Bourbons, and some Herradura Legend Tequila. Keep in mind this is only what we added wait until you see what we already serve. We also have Cheryl, Jennifer, Maddie, and Francesca all working on some new Casa Cocktails. A separate post with pictures as well.

I will set up another post with all our new great wines and why they are so memorable. It is pretty extensive and a perfect reason to stop in.

Well, well, well Casa Rosa Cucina's first Lent and while we already serve some of the best seafood dishes to be found such as the Potato Crusted Grouper, Seafood Bouillabaisse, Grilled Salmon, and Pan Seared Scallops, Executive Chef Todd is bringing out the house favorite Chilean Sea Bass served with a crystal citrus blended glaze atop garlic mashed potatoes and Vegetable Medley. He is also bringing in one of my personal favorites, Trout Almondine and what a beautiful dish this is. Panko and almond slivers crusted trout with a hot honey glaze on top of fire roasted butternut squash purée. As for a special surprise he was hinting at a Lobster Newburg with Sherry Cream Sauce with Peas over Linguine Pasta. Truly delicious. We will be having something unique for you every week so enjoy.

Almost forgot, we have some special no meat Pasta Fagioli as well. This was hard as I truly love sausage and pancetta in our usual version.

Well the New Year is here and in full swing and we have a few new things to share. Everyone seems to enjoying all our fabulous desserts and what is not to love. Chef Todd's Creme Brulee, Maria's authentic Baklava and Kadaifi (Bird's Nest), and Mimi's beautiful Cheesecake all decorated and presented to you by Chef Dee. One thing we have been missing and something we we truly enjoy when in Europe is an after dinner exquisite cheese plate or Italian Nightcap as we call it. A wonderful array of cheeses and dried fruits, honey, jams, and chocolate with a perfectly paired Digestiv which we now have quite a few to offer you. So starting Wednesday we will be offering our Italian Nightcap Cheese Plate. We also now have the following Digestives...Homemade Limoncello, Homemade Nocino, Ramazzotti Amaro, 10yr and 20yr Tawny Ports, and Remy Martin 1738 Cognac. We also were able to get my personal favorite and what I believe may be one of the best dessert wines in the world. The fortified California style Madeira doem V. Sattui Wineries just enhances its flavor well beyond a typical Madeira. Can't wait to share with all. What a combination, cheese and wine, and something we truly believe everyone will enjoy immensely.

For this week's Wine Wednesday we will be offering special prices on all these drinks as well a the Italian Nightcap. You really don't even need dinner first to enjoy this.

Happy New Year. Mimi and I have to begin by telling everyone how great 2025 turned out to be and all because of you, our customers. Not only did we get to see all our friends at both Down The Block and Casa Rosa we had the opportunity to meet so many new friends. From the day we opened at Casa and the unforgettable blessing from Bishop Woost, Father David, and Deacon John until our staff picture at the end of the night on New Year’s Eve it has been a truly memorable year and we would can’t thank everyone enough. Chef Todd and his staff, Tyler, Dee, Nate, and Justin hit a home run and have delivered truly unbelievable meals. Niko and Maria have just embraced everyone as well making the beautiful food only better by adding warmth and love. How could you not just love Niko’s great big ”WELCOME” as it is the start of a perfect evening. I hope everyone appreciates and enjoys our servers as as much as we do. Maddie, Maria, Rylee, Cheryl, and Jennifer. All here to make sure your evening is impeccable. We just can’t thank everyone enough.

We have been asked numerous times, why here in Kirtland, and neither Mimi or I could think of a better place. The city and surrounding communities are just beautiful, the people have been fantastic, and we believe this converted home is a perfect representation of how we want to serve our friends and family. We love giving back. Just remember, we just started and are still learning. Wait until you see the completed patio and cigar area and some of the cool things we have planned. It is only going to get better.
