So many things going on I hope you don't lose interest when reading everything. That was a joke I know you won't. Let me start off by saying thank you to everyone. This has been so much fun and Mimi and I can't imagine not being here and working hard to make your dining experience memorable. We constantly talk amongst our staff, Niko, Marie. Todd, Tyler, Dee, Josh, Trent, Maddie, Cheryl, Jennifer, Rylee, and Franki on how to make your experience better. So let's begin...
Casa Rosa Cucina is presenting our first of many wine and bourbon tasting/pairing dinners and this one is brought to you by European Wines & Zeni Winery from Italy. A 6 course meal with fantastic wines of Zeni paired with each course while the Owner Fausto elaborates on each to enhance your culinary experience. Wines will also be available for sale during and after dinner and Fausto will be signing bottles by request. Attached photo has details and we are filling up fast and once you see the menu you will know why.
Starting this week, every Wednesday and Thursday we will be having Aperitivo Ora from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Yes in Italy it usually starts at 6 but they eat much later than we do here in the US. It is about sharing a quick bite, glass of wine, a snack with friends and family prior to dinner. We will be offering all appetizers, specialty cocktails, and wines by the glass or bottle at 25% off. Chef may also have some extra treats as well. Will be served at Bar, Restaurant, and Patio - WHEN IT OPENS
As any of our customers know, we have a pretty extensive wine and bourbon list and we will be featuring many dinners featuring each. On Monday May 4th we will be hosting our fist wine tasting and dinner event. This is where Chef Todd shines and attached you will see the menu. We have 42 seats available and will start taking reservations immediately. Prepayment is required as we have limited seating - details in attachment.
Now I usually stay out of the kitchen unless I am needed or have something I want. If I want it I can almost guarantee you will want it as well. That being said, we are working on our Spring/Summer Menu and let me tell you this is hard...really hard but we are releasing it soon and hopefully for our One Year Anniversary - can you believe it? We have the patio coming as well and it will perfectly coincide with our new really unique small plates. Also, we will have a Chef's Tasting Dinner a Casa Caveman Dinner coming your way. The Chef's Tasting will vary and have recommendations for wines. Chef would prefer we make this a table event and request it at time of reservation but we are still working out details. The Casa Caveman Dinner will be an omnivore's dream. Lamb Chops and Veal Chops or Pork Chops and Steak served with fresh creamed spinach. That's it...meat, meat, and a vegetable just to make you feel good. An Old Fashioned and a bottle of Amarone and you may think you are in Heaven. Writing this i making me hungry and since I have the Amarone opened I am starting the grill.

So If I accommodated everyone's request I would have to build another building to hold everything and serve everyone. But we do want to appease our customers so we have added some really really cool spirits. Belvedere Vodka Larceny, Bookers, Redemption, Calumet Bourbons, and some Herradura Legend Tequila. Keep in mind this is only what we added wait until you see what we already serve. We also have Cheryl, Jennifer, Maddie, and Francesca all working on some new Casa Cocktails. A separate post with pictures as well.
I will set up another post with all our new great wines and why they are so memorable. It is pretty extensive and a perfect reason to stop in.
