We’re fired up to announce a very special October collaboration between The Pioneer Café and The Stellar Hog BBQ!

For the month of October, we’re taking our famous Pioneer Hash Bowl and giving it the Stellar Hog treatment.

🌟 THE STELLAR HOG HASH BOWL 🌟

It starts with a generous pile of our crispy rosemary-Parmesan fried red potatoes, covered with a grilled mixture of The Stellar Hog’s smoked pulled pork, caramelized onions and red bell peppers.

Then we take it over the top with Sour cream & fresh pico, choice of Spicy Lou or Sweet Stella BBQ Sauce, and completed with crispy onion straws seasoned with The Stellar Hog’s signature rub

The Stellar Hog is a family-owned St. Louis BBQ favorite known for its chef-driven approach to barbecue and some seriously outstanding smoked meats. Chef and pitmaster Alex Cupp founded The Stellar Hog in 2016 after years in professional kitchens and has become one of the most respected names in the St. Louis barbecue scene.

And this collaboration is about more than creating a ridiculously good bowl.

For every Stellar Hog Hash Bowl sold during October, The Pioneer Café will donate $2 to Operation Food Search to help fight food insecurity in our community.

Two local restaurants. One incredible bowl. One great cause.

Our Breakfast Smash Burger is stacked with a beef and breakfast sausage patty, egg, bacon, hash brown patty, American cheese, and maple aioli on an English muffin, served with crispy Pioneer Potatoes. Yeah, we’d be thinking about this one all day too. 🤤🍳
