Chenchitas Mexi Thai Cafe will be temporarily closing. We are so thankful for the amazing support from this community and surrounding ones. Being a small town restaurant business owner is definitely not an easy task. It requires a lot of work, a lot of hours especially when starting from scratch and creating every meal fresh. As many of you know I've recently had my first baby. He's our miracle baby. Our goal is to always serve fresh homemade food but this requires over 10 plus hours a day to accomplish. So yes, selfishly I'd like to enjoy more time with my baby to catch those precious milestones as well as time together with my oldest. Dad's gone all week at Fort Riley. Which means only late Friday nights, all day Saturday and a partial Sunday to spend time with him. I'm not complaining just simply coming to the understanding that I'm having difficulty balancing my priorities, God,family then everything else.

This has truly been a blessing and a dream come true. We just ask for prayers for our family and our health.
We do not own the building as we could not come into agreement with the landlords about the price. We are owners of the entirety of business assets only.

This decision was definitely not an easy one but as of right now is what is best for our little family. I'm definitely no quitter except freshman year golf... sorry to coach Boggs he was great! So again thank you all for your continued support. We are so so grateful to you all! Our last day will be August 30th 2025. This is not the end but a couple gap years so stay tuned! 🥲🙏
