We did something last weekend.......

We are tearing it down and rebuilding it into a mobile kitchen for our pop-ups. We will have a flat top griddle for our Kingsville famous boudin burgers, a fryer, propane burners, the pit on the back and of course our crawfish/seafood boiler. We will be 100% mobile and available for catering and pop-ups.

We are sorry to announce that Gator's is closing our doors today. We would like to thank everyone for your support over the last 9 months, it has been a pleasure meeting so many of you. We have made many new friends along this journey but it's time to say goodbye for now. It was a dream to move back to our hometown and open our business and offer some of the best food in town. We have had more downs than ups along the way, but we learned a lot as well. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.

Two men were arrested early Thursday after they were allegedly caught burglarizing a local restaurant.

A big thanks to the Kingsville Police Department for catching the 2 guys who thought it was a good idea to break into Gators this morning. We received a call at 6am that officers we clearing the building due to finding someone with the door wide open drinking a soda on the front porch and no lights on. That person was arrested and when we arrived to walk the scene with the officers, another person was hiding in the grass in the lot next door. He was only found because he dropped his jacket on our patio and that was not there last night when we closed up. As far as we can tell nothing is actually missing, aside from the restaurant phone, but they did a good number inside, they even tried taking a pan of boudin burgers "To-Go". Not the best way to start the 4th but at least they caught them and nothing major needs to be replaced.
