is a Christian non-profit organization that exists to foster spiritual engagement and a love of neighbor among young adults in central New Jersey, particularly on and around the college campuses of Mercer County. centers physically around a mobile food truck (known as the “Feed Truck”), which specializes in fresh, handcrafted breakfast fare. FTMI is especially interested in giving young people an

unexpected, positive encounter with the Church. By providing an excellent locally sourced food experience, the Feed Truck generates funds for, and opportunities to serve with, area charitable organizations centering around food security and social services — while simultaneously creating opportunities for meaningful employment, community investment, and spiritual engagement, especially with 18-29 year olds. Through the Feed Truck, FTMI works closely with United Methodist churches and campus ministries by building bridges between young adults, local service organizations and area faith communities. The Feed Truck is a ministry hatched by Kingston United Methodist Church in cooperation with the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference of the UMC, and supported by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry of the UMC.

Friends, an exciting new chapter is beginning for The Feed Truck.

On Sunday at noon, outside , we will bid a fond farewell to the Truck before it heads to its new home with Toni’s Kitchen and the community of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Montclair, NJ, where it will continue to do ministry at the intersection of Food, Work, and Neighbor.

We are so very grateful for all of your support through the years - at the Truck, the Cafe, and the Big Front Porch, and we thank God for every step of this blessed adventure. Please join us on Sunday for a brief service of farewell, if you can (though sorry - there will be no sandwiches!) And if we don’t see you, remember - keep your sunny side up! ☀️
