Mariners Harbor would like to make it clear that we are no longer affiliated with Ulster Eateries Unfiltered.

This decision comes following a comment made by the page’s administrator, Jason Bover, regarding the tragic death of an individual at the Ground Round. The comment shown in the attached screenshot below was, in our opinion, incredibly insensitive, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate, particularly when speaking about the loss of someone’s life.

There is a family grieving. There are friends and loved ones who have lost someone. Regardless of the circumstances, we believe a tragedy involving the loss of a human life should be treated with compassion and respect not used as the punchline of a joke.

The comments and views expressed by Jason Bover and Ulster Eateries Unfiltered do not represent Mariners Harbor, our ownership, our management, or our staff. We do not condone this type of behavior and do not wish for our business to be associated with it moving forward.

Our thoughts are with the family, friends, employees, and everyone affected by this tragedy.
