I usually just let noise be noise, but I'm protective of my space and my loved ones.
I do not post or conduct business in a way that is divisive, derogatory, or exclusive to anyone. This kind of classless and cowardly attack in an instagram story is unwarranted and unprovoked. My business has been open for over a decade in the community, and everyone feels welcome and comfortable here. If you are in my shop, you are absolutely likely to see cops and first responders. They're my family and my close friends. I love them dearly, and I am proud to support them. I do not think we should start labeling businesses with political affiliation. No one cares who I vote for when they come get their latte or talk about their day. It is unjust to label and assume things about a person we know nothing about. To everyone who supports my business and feels at home here, thank you. To the person who decided to wake up and make an unfair judgment, you aren't welcome in our space. This is a reminder to be kind to all.
