🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET — 9/11/2001 🇺🇸

There are some days you never forget. September 11th is one of them.

As a veteran, 9/11 has always meant something a little different to me. I remember the shock, the anger, the sadness, and the feeling that our country had changed forever. I also remember the incredible courage of the men and women who ran toward the danger while everyone else was trying to get away.

Today, I remember the innocent lives lost, the families who still feel that loss, the first responders who gave everything, and every service member who raised their hand and said, “I’ll go.”

I’m proud to have served this country, but today isn’t about me. It’s about remembering why we served and who we served for.

May we never forget the lives lost, the sacrifices made, and the unity this country showed when we needed it most.

🇺🇸 Never forget. Never stop remembering.

God bless those we lost. God bless those who served. And God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸
