Another great Private chef gig in Hawaii! Such a sweet family to cook for. Some pics of last couple days. Another Sushi night and a surf and turf dinner. Lots of desserts and baked goods. I’m ready for a nap now and maybe a day of not cooking. So thankful for opportunities like these! 🌺✨

A beautiful evening at Hapuna, where dinner ended with an even better view. 🌅✨

Tonight’s Filipino-fusion-inspired menu:

• Macadamia nut-crusted fresh mahi • calamansi & orange beurre blanc
• Pork adobo with vegetables
• Wilted baby bok choy
• Aliʻi mushrooms sautéed with ginger, garlic & pineapple sausage
• Roasted kabocha pumpkin mash
• Filipino garlic rice
• Fresh green salad
• Chocolate mousse for dessert

Fresh island ingredients, bright flavors, great people and a little Filipino inspiration—

I’ve been having a great working vacation playing in the kitchen. 🌈✨Poke bar was a hit last night with fresh Ahi and Aku spicy and shoyu poke• Macaroni Potato salad• Namasu pickles• papaya seed Cabbage pistachio salad• Flame grilled Teriyaki Chicken• Calrose rice• Fresh Fruit• homemade Oreo ice cream sandos• Brownies etc etc.. time to get back to opening Nona’s Italian bistro for tonight. 🍴

Last night’s dinner was inspired by the elegance of the French coast 🇫🇷✨

A beautiful evening of fresh island ingredients with classic French flavors…

• Micro-panko crusted fresh mahi w/ shallot aïoli
• Whole roasted chicken- stuffed with lemon, shallot, celery & fresh herbs, finished with a silky pan-dripping sauce
• Parmesan & herb butter smashed potatoes
• Meyer lemon risotto
• Honey-roasted carrots
• Seared asparagus
• Green salad w/ classic French vinaigrette

And for dessert…

• Warm mango & coconut bread pudding • vanilla ice cream 🥭🥥

French technique, Hawaiʻi ingredients, and another beautiful dinner at Hapuna. 🌴✨

Hurricane Lala came in ragging but we’re still eating over here! 🍱 Sushi dinner tonight for half the guests that were supposed to arrive. More to come when planes start flying again. Feeling blessed to be safe from the storm and to have an amazing place to stay for the hurricane thanks to the best bosses! 🌀 🫶✨ thanks for everyone who reached out making sure I’m okay!

After a short skip and a hop AKN to ANC to LAX to KOA made it back to my favorite kitchen! From food truck freak to chic in 18 hours. (Well besides floor naps in LAX and 3 full Costco carts- that is not chic) Ready to make some beautiful food for upcoming clients!! 🫶✨✈️
