There are times when the .1% just make it trying on a person.
Guy comes in right as we’re closing for the evening. Just 1 drink. Then the drink turns into a cheeseburger too after the kitchen has been cleaned for a half hour. I can deal with that. What I can’t deal with is the attitude of privilege, condescension, and contempt after bending over backwards for someone.
I accommodate the dude. I’m getting his condiments and he walks over and tries to give me a $20 bill. I tell him I don’t want it and I don’t take tips personally. Get him his burger and re-clean the kitchen. I’m in the back room and he comes back and he’s got the tray with a half of the burge and a $100 bill in his hand. . He says, “I’m taking your tray with me this is for the tray,” Dude doesn’t have enough self awareness to realize how insulting this is so not having filters anymore I let him know just how insulting and condescending he is being. He still left the Franklin on the bar so my waitress got a $100 tip from the clown.
I hate when people come here and do things they wouldn’t dream of doing back where they came from. 99.9% of my customers are wonderful people I’m truly blessed to have you here.
Sorry for the rant.
