Hey guys! As many of you know a family in our community lost everything they own in a house fire last night. As a community it’s our job to come together and help each other during these devastating times.

For the rest of the week the tip jar will be replaced with a donation jar that will help the family get some necessities and stuff they have lost.

On Thursday 8/13 we will be giving 25% of all food and drink sales to the family as well! So come grab a drink or donate if you can! ☺️

As many of you guys know, school starts on Monday! As we get ready to send our babies off on yet another year of learning, growing, and becoming little humans, I would like to take this time to thank the teachers of our community!

You guys are shaping the next generation of artist, lawyers, presidents, construction workers, business owners, and maybe even baristas 🫶🏻. Being a teacher is the most important job out there, and you guys are changing the world one child at a time!

I remember watching my mom come home so exhausted from teaching her class, ready to give up because it’s a lot more difficult than people think, but she never did. She always put the kids above herself, and that’s what makes a great teacher!

And with that, I’d like to share a poem about about teachers:

“I was just a small hopeless seed,
I was handed to the nursery named SCHOOL.
I wasn’t alone, There were many alike buds around.

You TEACHERS were our gardeners who Cared us,
You sowed us in the firm soil of Discipline,
You feed us with water of Values,
You nurtured us with manure of Knowledge,
You exposed us to sun of Spirituality,
You made us take on harder Challenges,

Well guys we have no power 🥲 just like the rest of you guys! It seems like it’s going to be a couple hours at least so I made the decision to close for now 😭 if the power does come back soon I’ll be back up here! You guys enjoy the rest of yalls day!
