Operation Stand Down Central Texas is set to hold their fourth annual Vet-fest, Saturday, October 3 at Copperas Cove City park from 10am until 6pm.

The 2026 Vet-Fest, is a day dedicated to honoring our veterans and celebrating the men and women who have served our country.

Enjoy a day filled with community, patriotism, and appreciation for our veterans, featuring:
🎶 Live entertainment
🎨 Veteran artists
🤝 Local sponsors and community support
🇺🇸 An opportunity to honor those who have served

Come out, bring the family, and help us celebrate the veterans who have given so much for our country.

Operation Stand Down Central Texas assists homeless veterans and their families in the surrounding Central Texas community.

•Provide immediate relief from the trauma and isolation of homelessness. Create an environment where basic necessities are provided and participants can come together in a safe and relaxed atmosphere.

•Provide homeless veterans access to short-term resources. Ensure that participants have easy access to basic needs during the event, including shelter, beds, food, showers, clothing and haircuts.

•Raise community awareness about homelessness (particularly homeless veterans). Encourage participation of elected officials in Stand Down. Increase media coverage and dialogue on homeless veteran issues.
