As summer winds down, we want to take a moment to say thank you! Thank you to everyone who reached out to say hello, checked in, and thought of us during your annual summer visit - your support has meant more than you know.

While the outside of the restaurant may look ready to welcome you in, the damage inside was more extensive than we anticipated. Our kitchen needs a complete overhaul, and, with the help of some incredible partners, we’re deep in the rebuilding process.

While we’re making great progress, we do have some bittersweet news: we will not be reopening during the 2026 season.

We’re incredibly sad to miss being part of your summer, but this isn’t goodbye. We’re rebuilding, renewing, and getting ready to come back better than ever. We’ll keep the updates coming - and if you still need your Pigman’s fix, you can grab our sauces to enjoy at home on our website. Link in comments! Continue to talk with Mama J for caterings‼️

We can’t wait to open our doors again and kick off an incredible 2027 season with all of you. Thank you for sticking with us. We’ll see you in the spring. 🐷❤️

It felt so good to be back at it and see so many familiar faces at the first annual Wing Fling!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to sample our sauces, grab a Pigman’s cup, and say hello! Seeing one of our youngest Pigman’s fans enjoying her cup (and spotting one with our friends in SoulOne) definitely made our day 🐷

We’re grateful for every opportunity to get out, connect with you all, and share a little taste of Pigman’s!

We are heartbroken to share that Pigman's Bar-B-Que was impacted by a fire last night. We are temporarily closed while we assess the damage and begin the recovery process. Most importantly, everyone is safe.

To our Outer Banks community: Thank you! Your messages, calls, and love mean everything right now. Kudos to all of the first responders who showed up and got the fire under control. You do amazing work and we can't thank you enough. 🙏
