Spring is here and so is our annual Bake Box Special we create in conjunction with the annual Texas Ladies Conference in Lufkin, TX.
$15 a box and you receive an assorted dozen cookies that are baker's choice, but include drop, cut out, bars, and maybe a wee cake or petit four.
Cookie boxes will be available for local pickup Wednesday, March 25th, in Kilgore.
We will deliver/meet in Lufkin on March 26th for TLC boxes.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Thank you for all of the cookie orders. They are a blessing!
This morning I am enjoying another baker's goodies. 7 Magpies Bakehouse has delicious sourdough. We've gotten the regular loaf, and yesterday I picked up (still hot!) a loaf of cheddar jalapeño and pain au chicolat.
They are both so yummy!
In honor of the holiday, I lightly toasted the chocolate and added a smidge of butter to enjoy alongside my coffee and a sweet card from the amazing husband of mine who handled most of the last couple of days pick-ups while I worked.

Just don't rub your eye after slicing the jalapeno cheddar. 😂😭

Here is a sweet little chicken cake to brighten a chilly day. 😍
Buttercream ruffles, flowers, and hens made for an adorable little birthday cake a few weeks ago.

I haven't had the time to bake sourdough in ages, and I have missed it.
I got a loaf from 7 Magpies Bakehouse this weekend and have really enjoyed, so if you are also looking for some delicious bread consider ordering for this weekend.

My girl and I are home alone.
We are planning Valentine's! Hooray: Cookies, Bento Cakes, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Hearts.
And needed to eat, so we decided to try out the new East TX Wing Co on 42.
Yum.
Wow.
So good.
Oh, my.
We shared a 10pc boneless with fries and added in a churro. The portions were huge. As in, we both ate and can't finish it all, so I shall have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. 😁 Definitely not upset about that.
And my girl keeps whispering that the churro was the best churro she's had. It was fat and fresh, and amazingness filled with caramel and tossed in cinnamon sugar.
So, go.
Get some wings and fries and churros.
And have very happy, full bellies.
