*MAJOR NEWS*
Fish House family!
As you know, the last few years have been wild for us as a business. We roughed it through C-19 restrictions (barely), persevered through the collapse and rebuilding phase, and have been battling to stay relevant during an economic decline. All these factors combined are hard for any business to recover from, especially small/locally owned businesses. We’ve tried changing things and they have improved business, however, not to a point that is sustainable long-term.
We could keep fighting with no sense or idea of when the fight could be over.
To ease tension for our entire staff and to keep the mental fortitude to keep going we have decided to make some major changes.

However unfortunate, our last day of service at the Old Hardware Fish House will be
Saturday April 29th, 2023.
We have decided to take on the challenge of switching to our mobile unit full-time.
The Fish Wagon will take over as our primary source of service. We feel this is what’s best for us as a business moving forward.
We know with news such as this there will be a plethora of questions. The Fish Wagon will post the new schedule and hours of service shortly after this one is made. We hope to see you all as we begin this new chapter and hope we haven’t let you down. Our primary goal is and has always been to serve our best for you guys!
The customer base we have is not only the best a business could ask for but most of y’all are family to us.
It’s been a pleasure serving y’all these 30 years! 🥲

We wanted to let everyone know we will not be open Friday, March 31st.
We will however be serving on The Fish Wagon.
Serving in our usual location in OG.
4:00pm-8:00pm.

We will also not be serving in our physical location Saturday, April 1st. We will have the wagon set up out in front of the restaurant.

We just want to start by saying WOW!
Did you guys show up last night for the boiled shrimp! We hope everyone enjoyed it!

With that being said, we severely under ordered for the volume at which you guys ordered. We apologize but unfortunately we won’t be able to serve boiled shrimp this eveing (3/4/23).

We will 100% be ready next weekend! We invite y’all to try and sell us out, we bet y’all can’t! 😉

We will still have fried shrimp tonight and this week on The Fish Wagon. We just don’t have enough to do both.

Tomorrow (3/3/23) marks the start of our
BOILED SHRIMP season!! 🦐🦐

Come in and get it by the pound or just add some to any order! We’ll also have the option for “spicy” this year for all you folks that enjoy that extra kick.

This is a seasonal special that we do so get it while you can!!

Thanks to you guys, with business picking up we are now looking to hire the following positions:
- Dish technician (dish washer)
- server (waiter/waitress)
-Sub (someone to fill in when needed)

To apply please come in our physical location and fill out an application.

We know it’s been a while since we’ve had them BUT oysters are back on the menu!!
(From now on they will be sold at market price)

Also we wanted to share some upcoming things to be on the look for.

-our usual valentines opening will not happen this year.

-boiled shrimp will be making its way back soon!!

Fish House Family!
We hope everyone has been enjoying the holidays.
As we adventure into another year we are trying everything we can to keep with our values, those being quality and customer satisfaction above all.
With that being said we are re-vamping our dining experience in order to keep those values. We are changing a few things around and how we do things a bit. We hope these changes will be able to lower our costs therefore lowering the amount you guys pay at the register. In will undoubtedly be different than what you’re used to but we hope that you and ourselves can adjust to the changes. Please remember that food costs are only rising and we’re doing everything we can to keep a fair price as well as stay open.
Thank you all for being a wonderful customer base and supporting us thus far!

We did a test run last night and the general opinion was positive. we will continue to test and adapt, only time will tell if this system will work.

We will be open tonight 12/23/22, but closed tomorrow 12/24/22.
Next weekend will be the same schedule; opening Friday 12/30/22 but closed 12/31/22. We will resume normally afterwards.
