La Grignote will be closed for renovations from September 8 through October 8.

Thank you so much for a wonderful season and for all the love and support you’ve shown us! We can’t wait to welcome you back when we reopen on Friday, October 9. Come celebrate opening day with us! 🥂

20 years later… 🥹❤️

Around 2006, when Mady was about 9 years old, her dad took this photo of her right outside this little Key West building — long before it became La Grignote.

Nearly 20 years later, she happened to be standing in the very same spot again, this time after having breakfast with us at La Grignote. ❤️

She called her dad afterward to tell him about it, and hearing the story absolutely made our day.

Thank you, madyline_spence, for sharing this little piece of Key West history with us. There’s something so special about coming back years later and realizing that a place from an old family photo is still part of your story.
