A Fish tender is different from a packer. This is part of us icing up our small hatches. We give out tons of ice each week which we fill in bags onboard. We pull out & re-chop each bag before giving to our fisherman. They use this ice in their hatches to keep the fish cold until we buy it.
We then put their fish in our fish holds, which we have refrigerated & chilled down seawater to 34°

We bought a lot of fish over the last 24 hours. 🎉😅 excited our fishermen are starting off a great season!

19 Days 😅 now that it’s finally feeling like spring, time to tackle some pre-season projects.

Cleaning the fish holds is the only reason for wearing rain gear on a sunny day… unless jellyfish are involved 😅
