Roasting gives the salsa that deep flavor that you can’t get from a fresh, raw blend. We take time to roast, cool, blend. That’s why, sometimes we only have it available for dine in/to go orders. We make jars as fast as we can when we have time. We’ll let you know when the next batch of jars are ready!

David Simonds, a search and rescue diver and artist, created this beautiful sculpture as a tribute to those who lost their lives in the July 4th flood. Hear the story on his IG . He has graciously share this sculpture with us temporarily so people can view it before it moves to another location. You can feel the emotion in it when you see it up close. Every branch and leaf are intentional, delicate, strong.

We all wondered what this part of the Guadalupe River would look like after the flood. The first three pictures were taken this week. The last video was August, a few weeks after the floodwaters receded. We weren’t sure how it would come back but we knew it would be different.

It’s hard for us to look back a year ago and remember the loss of so much and so many. The immediate assistance, generosity and concern from around the world landed on Kerr County in a way that we’ll never forget as a community. And now we have spent almost a year of grief for losses, rebuilding and waiting to see what this small section across from the Pavilion on Water St. would look like. It has adapted and grown. Some parts are still bare but it seems like nothing will stop the beautiful new growth from becoming the fullest expression of itself.

That’s how we see Kerr County.

We’ve had a lot of rain this month. The Guadalupe River across from the Pavilion in front of is flowing strong, no flooding, through GREEN riverbanks in Louise Hayes Park! Thankful for those people who knew which trees to keep even though everything looked like it couldn’t possibly come back. Many trees are still bent to the ground and they are still green and beautiful. So thankful 🙏

Dinner Club was a hit! Since is closed Wednesdays we tried something new and had a blast meeting new people assembled by The Kerrville Life Team. We had dinner at followed by a big meetup Kerrville Favorite Saloon. We highly recommend it if you want to make some new friends and try new places in Kerrville.
