Since 1988, we’ve been serving our Texas Hill Country cookin’ on the banks of Nimitz Lake on the Guadalupe River, and our restaurant offers a beautiful view and delicious food served by friends. Though we're known for our catfish, our menu is filled with country classics like chicken fried steak, Texas's best onion rings, and peach cobbler. tch daily (just like our coleslaw), and we’ve got green beans and fried okra, along with other choices. We're the kind of place where coming in for a meal feels like sitting at a neighbor's table, and talking to a server is like talking to a friend. The Kerrville community is one of a kind, and we love serving its locals and visitors alike our Hill Country cooking in an inviting, family-friendly atmosphere.

The Traveler Golf Association, Inc. was established in 1974 in Austin, Texas and chartered on April 8, 1988. It is a Christian-focused, non-profit organization whose purpose is to develop and promote fellowship between its members and other golf associations at the city and state level. We provide charitable donations to several local organizations.

These guys travel around the region holding tournaments. Kerrville Scott Schreiner has always been on the list. Sometime around 1992 (best we can figure) Charlie Taylor called me up asking about doing their after tournament awards luncheon with us. Evidently it was a good idea. We've done every year since. Charlie ran the show for a long time. He was my guy. We worked together on these for many years. Charlie's 92 now, but told em "when you go to Kerrville I'm going with you". Hard to put into words what it meant to me to get to have a visit with Charlie yesterday. We did a lot of miles together and they were all great ones. Love Charlie, love the Travelers, love what they do and how they do it. 30+ years and counting. A treasured relationship.
