The first Trailhead Beer Garden Salsa Fest is in the books!

A sellout crowd tasted 27 salsas from 15 local makers all representing local businesses and organizations. Combined with a huge lift from our sponsors, together we raised $14,000 for the Doyle Community Center.

One of our makers, Center Point ISD Bistro, was awarded gift certificates to the Plant Haus 2 toward the purchase of homegrown ingredients to add to the Bistro's offering.

It's almost salsa time!

Tickets for the first ever Trailhead Beer Garden Salsa Fest are still available through our website - https://trailheadbeergarden.com/salsafest.

Free live music with sound provided by Jacobi Caldwell and Schreiner University Songkeepers program, block printing by SU Communication Design departments, and.... salsa!

Proceeds from the event go to the Doyle Community Center

$15 gets you a commemorative serving tray, bottomless chips, prize entry, and all the salsa you can handle. Tasters also get two voting tickets to choose the best Red and Green salsa in the land!

"Let it Grow" Golden Ale

Inspired by the legendary riparian ecologist Steve Nelle and his contributions to post-flood recovery efforts in Kerr County.

Our current seasonal is a Pilsner base combined with Munich and caramel malts to create a low and slow summer sunset of a beer. Rich gold color and layers of flavor that finish crisp and clean.

Contributions of $10 or more to the Kerr County River Foundation gets you a pint of Let it Grow and a chance to win a new Perception Tribe 9.5 kayak from Kerrville Kayak and Canoe. Raffle tickets can be purchased at Pint & Plow - drawing at Salsa Fest at Trailhead Beer Garden August 29th, 2026. (Do not need to be present to win)
