UPDATE ON OUR SISTER Jenna!
š„¹Today, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.
Three nights ago, Jenna underwent her liver transplant surgery, and we are praising God for His faithfulness every step of the way.
As she was waking up after surgery, the surgeon and transplant team came into her room with smiles on their faces. They told her that her body did great during surgery and that they were very pleased with how everything went. Another doctor shared with Cody that the liver Jenna received was in pristine condition. What an incredible gift and answer to so many prayers.
THANK YOU JESUS!
Today, just three days later, they already had Jenna up and walking. It may seem like a small step, but itās a huge milestone in her recovery, and weāre so thankful to see her making progress.
She still has a long road ahead. Jenna will spend the next couple of weeks in the hospital being closely monitored, followed by several more weeks staying near the hospital with multiple appointments each week.
We are believing and speaking Philippians 4:13 over her: āI can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.ā
Thank you to every single person who has prayed, encouraged us, and stood with our family. We truly believe Godās timing was perfect, and we are so thankful for His hand over Jenna, her doctors, and the precious gift of this donor.
Please continue praying for complete healing, strength, and a smooth recovery in the weeks ahead. We are also continuing to lift up the donorās family, whose incredible gift has given Jenna another chance at life.
