December 1, 2026 is when the Va Attorney General will start revoking concealed carry recognition agreements in Virginia. This is why I have been teaching the Utah class and encouraging everyone to get the permit. I Don’t know for sure which states will be revoked but in 2015 Atty General Mark Herring created this list of states that should be revoked and I have a very good feeling that this Is what Jay Jones is going to follow

* Kansas
* Kentucky
* Louisiana
* Minnesota
* Mississippi
* Montana
* Nebraska
* New Mexico

If you obtain a Utah nonresident permit, you will be able to carry in most of these states if your Virginia permit no longer works there. Utah is the backstop.

The Law up until today has been that if you use ma*****na, you cannot purchase fi****ms. That has changed thanks to the Supreme Court applying the law correctly. Casually using ma*****na is no different than casually drinking alcohol. To say somebody can drink beer and buy a gun, but they can’t use ma*****na and buy a gun has been a defective flaw in the law for decades. That is now over thanks to the Supreme Court.

This is interesting — and honestly a pretty smart move. It appears there aren’t enough votes to override Governor Stein’s veto of SB50 (Constitutional Carry), so lawmakers have introduced a bill for a constitutional amendment instead. That would place Constitutional Carry on the November ballot and allow the people to decide directly.
