Last night, our family experienced a heartbreaking loss as a fire severely damaged Hart’s Bar-B-Que. For over 20 years, Hart’s has been more than just a restaurant — it has been our second home. We raised our grandchildren here, built lifelong friendships, and welcomed customers from all over the world through our doors. Over the years, our employees became family, and so did so many of our loyal customers. The memories made within these walls are truly priceless.
While our hearts are heavy, we are incredibly grateful that no lives were lost. We want to sincerely thank the Kentwood Fire Department, Kentwood Police Department, and everyone who has reached out with prayers, calls, messages, and support. The outpouring of love from this community has meant everything to us during this difficult time.
Right now, we are taking things one day at a time as we assess the damage and begin figuring out the road ahead. We ask for your continued prayers for our family, employees, and everyone impacted by this loss.
