For as long as I can remember, it has been a dream of mine to own my own restaurant. It was never a secret, and I poured so much of my heart, time, and energy into working toward that goal.
Times change. Prices increase. Clientele changes. Interests shift. And sometimes, circumstances simply require us to take a different path than the one we originally envisioned.
It has been my absolute pleasure and privilege to create, cook for, and feed so many wonderful customers over the years. Every order, every event, every kind word, and every person who chose to support CRG has meant more to me than I can truly express.
Unfortunately, between increased competition, rising food costs, changing customer interest, and the ever-changing hardships that come with operating a small business, I have made the difficult decision to change how CRG operates.
This is not goodbye. This is not a closure. This is simply a shift in how we operate.
Moving forward, CRG will operate on a special-order and limited catering basis. We will accept a maximum of three catering orders per month, with catering limited to smaller events of 50 people or fewer. Pricing will be determined individually based on the specific order, guest count, menu, and overall scope of the event.
We will also no longer have set menu pricing. With food and supply costs changing so frequently, sometimes almost daily, it has become increasingly difficult to maintain consistent pricing. Each order will therefore be quoted individually to ensure we can provide accurate and fair pricing.
Seasonally, we will continue offering our signature hot sauce and pesto sauce, but these will be available by pre-order only.
Hopefully, one day the tides will change, and that brick-and-mortar restaurant we have been chasing for so long will once again be on the horizon. But for now, I feel it is time for me to step back, pursue new endeavors, and put more focus and energy into some exciting projects that are ahead.
This decision was not an easy one. But sometimes moving forward means taking a step back, reassessing, and allowing yourself the space to grow in a different direction.
To every customer, friend, family member, supporter, and person who has ever placed an order with CRG — thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your meals, your events, your celebrations, and your hard-earned money. Thank you for allowing me to do something I genuinely love.
Your support has helped CRG become what it is today, and I will always be grateful for that.
CRG isn't going anywhere. We're simply doing things a little differently from here on out.
